I'm new to the boards, but so far I've found tons of good info. I've had my Alero for a few months now and Im ready to start modding. I've got a 2000 GLS, 3.4L V6, two door, black w/ 2-tone leather interior, fully loaded. I just received a set of glow gauges that I have yet to install and some black vinyl to make custom taillight covers. I'm looking to get intake and exhaust done soon and I've been looking for good deals on kits for the intake and exhaust so if anyone has any recommendations please feel free to post them. I'm also looking to lower it about 1.75" - 2".

Welcome to the site. Check out the How To section and look up the thread on how to pinstripe your tails. A lot of us have done it and it looks very good too. Good luck!

Welcome to the site.
As for lowering, Eibach are great, I have them on my car. But like Rev said they only drop you 1.25 inches. It does give the car a better stands and handles really well in the turns.
If you want to go lower, I must ask, how are the roads around you?. In Philly the roads are poop and I bottom out sometimes with only a 1.25 inch drop.
Also, do yourself a favor, and buy KYB struts too. You can get them from PFYC under the Grand Am section, but they are $50 cheaper on Tire Rack

Totally agree with the CAI suggestion, and Marie's suggestion about striping the tails. Welcome to the site G3  The striped tails will look awesome on your ride, TRUST me. B)

Hi and Welcome. I think you will find plenty of things here at Aleromod. Helpful hints, stereo hookups, computer hookups, engine performance, upcoming aleromod meets, all the way down to a girl telling everyone about her "female on female" experience. Grab a beer, a chair and just have some fun, and pick up some useful information too.
