It's gloomy and grey here > 9 month a year.
The run was alright.... my lines are good and my inputs are smooth but the car does nose dives and takes forever to recover. Also unwinding is not very fast in our cars and I think I need to take the apex sharper... right now I have to unwind at least halfway before the next cone...

Hey have you ran against a 300zx before? If so how'd you do, I know a guy near by who has a 300zx similar to the one I'm selling and he just douches on aleros all day around me, so I was wanting to call him out but curious to see if anyone has ran against one before. Obviously the driver is a big factor but the way a Z handles against an Alero is quite different.

A 300zx and even a 240sx would kick our ass taking out the driver factor. Of all the cars I've owned, the stock Alero is the worst handling one but it makes it kind of fun for driver training and focusing on skills. The cars I've owned and raced with: 98 Grandprix GTP, 2001 Jetta VR6, and 2007 MX-5... the two cars I've driven with worse handling: 2008 Dodge Caliber, and 99 Ford Contour (not SVT).

Well that's the thing I was worried about because my z handles amazing and Alero still needs work. I was just wondering if I should attempt drag or auto-x and I'm leaning towards drag cause his time was a 17.1. He also spins out a lot on an auto-x course. I still got time to decide though, but thanks for your help.

Yep, you'll have a better chance of winning at a drag strip.
