Phoenix meet anyone???
I got the chance to meet up with a member on here to help change my brakes. Had a good time, and I know there are a couple others in the area. How about we get a meet somewhere in Phoenix soon? I'm free on the weekends, and I'll be leaving Phoenix June 4th/5th to go back east.

I'm down. Papago Park would be cool to BBQ or something. Not much to do there, but there would be some great backgrounds for group photos.
If anybody remembers The Refreshments, that's where they filmed the video for Banditos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfZbFh7qlCQ
or South Mountain has some pretty cool views
not sure if we could get a shot of cars in front of that though, I don't know the parking lot layout off the top of my head

I'm game if the day is right. I have been working my ass off lately. I know for sure I have the 4th of April off but its also my birthday so I will probably do something with the family that day.

I was thinking sometime in May. Early May would be best for me. Maybe that first weekend, the 1st or the 2nd. Or we could do the next weekend the 8th or 9th. I'm down for either place. Haven't been to either. lol I don't get out much except to go to school. Although I did make it to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.

It would be sweet to have a caravan coming down 89A from Flag to Sedona, but that is too far. First weekend of May is cool, an early Cinco de Drinko .
I'm up for other suggestions too. The Pavillions has car shows every Saturday so that's an option.

What time does the car show start? We could meet up there, then head out somewhere for a bbq.

The 1st-2nd, or the 8th-9th weekends would work best for me.

And I never get weekends off. If you guys set a date and I place I will get the day off. Chris knows how my schedule is though, how long did we put off doing your brakes, 3-4 weeks?

has nothing to do with it being closer to you than the Pavillions does it?
I'm game for whatever.

Its about in the middle I think. I would think there would be less people too so maybe we could have a parking to are selfs if there is even parking up there. I'm good for whatever though.

I'm pretty sure there is. Just take Central south and keep going, it goes right into South Mountain Park. There are a couple of picnic areas up there, not sure how close you can get to the towers though

From what I saw on google maps you drive right by them if you take the road to the left, if you go right its a long road to a little parking area.
