Power Windows System Check
1. Inspect the power windows circuit breaker.
2. If only the left front power window switch operates the windows, ensure that the lockout switch is not engaged.
3. Verify that ground G301 is clean and tight.
4. If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, the circuit breaker will not reset until voltage is removed from the motor.
5. On Coupe only, if the RF or RR power window does not operate from the RF or RR window switch, but operates normally from the LF or LR power window switch, inspect CKT 141 for an open. If OK, replace the RF or RR power window switch. Refer to Front Door Switch Replacement in Doors.
6. On Sedan only, if the RF or RR power window does not operate from the RF or RR window switch, but operates normally from the LF or LR power window switch, inspect CKT 1307 for an open. If OK, replace the RF or RR power window switch. Refer to Front Door Switch Replacement in Doors.
7. Inspect for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation. A broken wire inside of the insulation may cause a system failure but prove good in a continuity/voltage test.
8. Inspect for proper installation of the aftermarket electronic equipment. Improper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment affects the integrity of other systems.
