so, i got the rest of my exhaust finished today. it turned out pretty nice and sounds great. i went with the stainless tsudo headers from ebay. we had to mod them a little bit, but not too bad. i also went with a magnaflow highflow cat and stainless vibrant resonator. the piping between these parts is 2.25, and then it goes into my 2.5" catback system with dynomax camaro style muffler.
i'm pretty happy with the results.
pics to come.
prices for reference:
headers - $140
cat - $55
resonator - $50
labor - $200
muffler - $65
tips - $40
labor - $250
total - $750

wow, $450 in labor to do header+exhaust? I had mine done (header/cat/exhaust) for right around $400 including parts and labor
Ditto on wanting pics and sound clip though!

it's hard to see an increase in gas mileage when you can't keep the pedal lifted. lol
definately more powerful. i was playing around with a gti last night. his girlfriend wasn't too happy. lol

that's just how they are. they are stainless steel, and like oldsman said, they turn blue from the heat.

So what do you think of the Tsudo header? I never heard of it before and was wondering about the fit and quality of it..
