My "new" mods
I just put these in a few days ago..I've had them since june and I haven't been able to put them on until recently...just wondering what everyone thinks of 'em or if anyone else has them...
also, has anyone know where I can get a colored version of this light bulb? its for the rear dome map lights, I just put a blue light as my main dome ( looks more white), and blue lights in the driver and passenger foot wells (look more green which works out seeing as my car is green). I can't really afford leds nor do I know how to really work with them..never have before...

they also have different gel covers for those bulbs if you would like to go that route. they just slip on over the bulb, and they come off easily if you want to change back...

mine all popped right out, if you push from the bottom w/ something that fits in the small hole. i just used a small screwdriver. there isn't much holding them in, besides pressure.
but www.superbrightleds.com also has some bulbs that fit.

Technically, it's a 195 bulb. Which is a 194 bulb in a holder. I was a bit afraid of cracking them out of the holder to change my dash colours.

AutoZone also sells the holders separate from the bulbs as well. That one-piece bulb can also be referred to as a PC194.

Good call. I changed those rear dome light ones to red bulbs and it was just a fiddly bit of work to have them come out.

hey is there something I'm missing? because these things are really in there..I've been using a small flat head screwdriver (like one that comes with an eyeglass repair kit) and I just switched to using an allen head wrench that just fits in the hole, and the damn thing aint budging....I mean one bulb is fairly loose from the holder...I can wiggle it from side to side and thats it...and the other one is firmly in place...I don't want to break these out unless I absolutely have to....

ok, so i just went to install them, and they are being a real pain in the @$$ to put back in..I guess I'll try tomorrow when I have light...but now one of them doesn't want to work, the bulb it self is fine...maybe I'll just go with leds and learn a few thing or two...

I replaced the bulbs in my rear mirror, but for some reason the connectors decided they wanted to move around on me, and now one light doesn't work, and the other one is stuck facing the wrong way (they are LEDs that face one direction)..... Can't wait to actually get the interior recoverred with new fabric...
