B&M shift plus

installed it today, black to the light blue/whit stripe wire, red to the red with black stripe. Defninitly worked, incresed my 0-60 by 3 seconds, and I was on wet pavement this time. Granted I have a WAI on it now to. But after I put it on now it sounds a little rough, almost like a beater. any idea whats causing it?

intakes add maybe 2-3 hp big woop. take it to a track then you'll see the real 0-60 and 1/4 and all that garbage instead of guessing.

By the way, shift kits put more strain on your car so if you're going to be using it daily you're gonna be realizing the affects on the car / your wallet soon.

Also, im not sure how bad these things are for your tranny. Supposedly stage one is mild but stage two is like extreme and forces the line pressure to max. Anybody know how hard these really are?

if your transmission is in good shape(no slipping) then not usually, it increases shift firmness, meaning less slip and prolonged trans life.

It shouldn't do any damage. Basically it's just a resistor on the force motor to lower voltage to it as far as I know.

Using a timer went from 10 seconds to 7 seconds. The reason it is such a huge jump is my tranny slips real bad, if you remember my first post here, and this completley eliminated that.
