SW MI Meets?
Are there any planned meet and greets in SW MI? It appears there are a few Alero owners in the area. Lunch and cruise date?

OK, Lets do this when it is a little cooler and more time to plan. Will Sept 24 or Oct 1 be your best choice? Maybe meet at a park south of GR and do a cruise. I will plan a nice route.

If anyone is local to Dorr, MI the new Ace Hardware is having a car show every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. I am planning on going to this one.

OK, It is getting cooler out. We need to get a meet and greet scheduled soon. October 15 work? Plan on south of GR someplace and a small cruise after meeting.

Well Oct 15 will not work. Coming home from work (got out early even) and my car died. Text my son and he said hit the gas tank. I did and it fired up. Went maybe 5 miles but still not to his house. I waited almost 3 hours for him to get there trying to round up a car trailer or dolly. I was about to call a wrecker and he had me cycle the key on and off while he hit the gas tank. It fired up and made it to my sons house. We walked to the parts store and picked up a new fuel pump. I walked funny going back. Felt like something was sticking into my backside. That pump was $255, but he gets a discount so it was $205. I have not bought a fuel pump in 30 years and ouch does that hurt. I assume he has it on the lift already dropping the tank, but it wont be ready until tomorrow afternoon.

Well that's too bad that you broke down. Sounds like you got a handle on it?
Since no body chimed in for going to this show , I will take the 70 to the show.

Most painful purchase for me was having a shop do my fuel pump back in 2010. I still remember the $800 bill almost 15 years later.
