OSVDreamer is on a distinguished road
To speed drying up, I have used a bit of air from the compressor, not a high pressure, but enough PSI into the cone that allows for a light airflow for circulation. Usually, I take the air-gun and place it inside (I know! Backwards Flow!) into the cone and block off the space with a rag or taped paper. I usually keep this to a low (I think about 20psi?) pressure on the regulator. Just enough to feel a very slight breeze on the outside.

Maybe not the most advisable, but I am impatient, and it cuts the dry time in half. I've never had any issues by doing this, but that doesn't mean you won't, so do this at your own risk.
