^well there is no real link because it would have to be something done at a muffler shop, like midas or something. No one really makes a bolt on system specifically made to sound good on the 2.4. You could take the easu way out and get the SLP for the Grandam but I have heard mized reviews on how it sounds on the 2.4.

Just find one that fits a 2 inch exhaust pipe (I think it is 2in./check just to be sure) and any exhaust place should be able to make it work.

ok, well for an update. i was slow in getting stuff but i have my cross/drilled rotors, ceramic pads, high amp alternator, door speakers, 5.0 cap, 4 guage amp kit, and a 2-channel 600 watt amp.....all are getting put in this saturday
|
diy or shop? I don't think ONE person can get all that done in ONE day, not unless the car is already taken apart and just waiting to be put back together.
Good luck though! (Not saying it is hard to do that stuff...sometimes it's just time-taking...) |
you could save a lot of money getting a WAI from a cavalier...they usually ship for $40-$50 on average...theirs hardly any diffrence between the CAI and WAI as far as gains go
|
i second that WAI advice... with aleros the CAI really dont get much air flow down there so the difference is modest... the cai will give u a lil more top end but the wai will be more noticable at start.
|
um it would help if u guys knew what you were talkin about.
the amount of airflow has nothing to do with it. putting the filter in the fender allows it to suck in COOLER air as opposed to WARM air from the engine bay. the amount of air flowing into the actually filter makes no difference cause you suck in more air than the engine needs in the first place. |
