View Full Version : I Dont Drive An Alero....
I dont drive an alero, but i have the heart of one in my cavalier.
'89 Z24 w/ a 3400 V6 swap. 5-spd. 2 1/2" Mandrel manifold-back w/ magnaflow. Lots of other stuff done to the car aswell...
Was good for 15 seconds flat with a bad track driver (me). Should be able to run about 14.6 once i learn how to launch it and stuff.
Just checking around for engine performance mods.
Here's pics.

welcome to the site. and also nice lookin car, very clean!
Ha, i forgot where i posted my pics, and the host went down today. i was wondering why they weren't working. i'll fix em.
You're probably right about the brakes, i wasn't sure which side was which when i swapped them on. Didnt have anything to compare them to. The brakes are an 11 1/4" setup from a Cadillac STS. Even if the rotor's are backwards, they still stop great. much better then the stock (9 1/2") brakes.
The engine's from a 2004 Alero w/ 21'000KM's on it. Was smoked hard in the side. bought it from local insurance company.
Car's lowered, has bigger swaybars, 6pt cage, 17's...
Thanks for the comments :)

Welcome! That's a pretty hot setup... my dad used to have a black Cavalier, same year (but, not as fast as I'm sure that yours is!). Excellent job! :thumb:
