3.4 Intake From Mini Van

I'd read that GM used a different intake (longer runners) on the 3.4 used in their mini vans. Is this true and has anyone done this swap with positive results? Thanks.

sisnce the Venture is a wider car than an Alero, that's why it's longer, but it's still a stock intake.

It will hurt preformance since longer piping takes more air to get to the motor plus the ripples in the rubber tubing will slow down the flow. Also if you jam that tube in there and bend it to fit, now a 2 inch tube becomes 1 inch or small tube.

Just buy an intake kit
