they are about the same height as the real 442 hood scoops, but i cut them down width and length wise to fit the alero hood, yeah they do seem a little tall, but i like em

Couple other angles would be nice. Did you put those on a CF hood or does it just like CF in the pic?

lol no.....if it was concrete that hood would be f***ing bending like crazy.....the hood only weighs like 5 lbs...........actually the scoops are styrofoam for right now......

IMO: have them slant down going to the back, and cut down on the height just a little. Seriously, copy the GM-produced Alero 442 hood, minus the little wing schits on the front edge of the scoop.

yes, it will be, and i have been considering cutting down on height a tad, and no after lots of thinking, i would rather go with a real 442 hood style instead of the 442 alero, plus the striping on the 442 alero was all f***ed up, so it will be easier for paint as well with real 442 style scoops.....

except mine is modeling after a true 442 oldsmobile hood, while that hood is a gay ass ricer scoop.......

but in the grand scheme of things, they still look similar...

will definitely look old school. chop them down to the intrigue 442 hood size and you should have a good retro style 442 hood.

hey kyle if you ever revisit this idea.........check out the ram air hood for the carprice/impalas. they have a nice sleek version of the w-25 hood that would flow better than the 70 hood.

as posted before in my for sale thread.......

basically, my mom and dad are really in debt due to multiple things but mostly putting me and my sister ahead of themselves, my dad cosigned for me and they were paying for my insurance until i got out of college (it was a deal for me and my sister), the deal was actually to buy me my car, i wouldn't let them even though they bought my sister hers, anyways even wiht my dad's new job they are making less than what they owe on bills every month, so i am selling the alero, getting a beater for real cheap so i have no monthly payment, and i will start taking over some bills for my parents, and then once i graduate and am back in the military i will pick up another nice car.........

so in a nutshell, it is time to put my family before my car, i've done the opposite for far too long............

don't worry though, i'll stick around.......:beerchug:
