So i have been left with the decision of a lifetime.lol.. Before i get into the real decision i have to make i got another one for ya's. I found the rims im gettin they are 7 spoke 17's, but i wanna get white to be different from everyone else, my car is a midnight blue 2door and i was just wondering what u think if i put the white wheels on there....here comes the big decision.. Well b4 i tell u it i have to say that right now my car scrapes goin up my driveway and ad all the school speedbumps(which are HUGE)... So after i get my rims im gonna get either a body kit or a lowering kit....NOT BOTH...just one.... so my decision is what one should i get...body kit or lowering springs.. im leaning more torwards the body kit... im tryin to get pics of my car up but my new laptop is being a fag boy... i wanna show my neon'd out interior...that i got for free...theres 6 neons in the interior and 2 in the trunk....its nifty lookin...lol...thanks for all of your help and not makin fun of me for the gay questions i ask...

save and get both

springs first I'd say though, but all it's depending if you want to lower the ride and up the suspension a bit or if you just want all show with a body kit

dont get a body kit, just lower it. and if you really want to stand out get some black rims, im in love with those, personally.

body kit 600 + 300 (At LEAST to paint) = 900

lowering springs $200 + 200(install) = 400

Don't make the same mistake I did, granted I'm not mad I got a body kit, I just wish I would have lowered my car first. They all cost more money than the innitial fee unless your going to install it yourself. Hopefully that helps out a little.

white??? errr... noooo please no, esp. not on midnight blue. and black or gunmetal will be too dark on an already dark color. just get some pretty silver ones, they go well with everything =) if you like chrome, then fine, get those, just not hugely spoked tacky things that look like they came off a dubs car or something.
Oh and a body kit would cost more than 600 to have it painted and put on. (imo they only look reallllly nice if molded on...)

i say go with springs.
partially cuz im no huge fan of body kits
annd cuz a kitted alero would look stupid as hell on rims with huge 4x4ish factory wheel gaps.

midnight blue 2-door:
white wheels only if they are 18" racing wheels.
17" = tasteful chrome; black with polished lip 5 or 6 spokes; silver <10 spokes
16" = why bother

and as always, suspension and rims before body kit.

i have to agree w/ others. you gotta lower before you kit. it just looks really wierd (some say ugly) when not lowerd w/ a kit.

and if your already scraping, do you really want to invest in a kit thats gonna get destroyed? :huh:

hey turbo-alero those wheels wont make my car as high as urs were will they? and me and my friend were talkiin about those and will they touch the wheel well or nething when i turn if i get a drop kit???lol gay question i kno...thanks everyone.

That first pic is stock height, you need to lower it, and no they won't rub, here is a pic with the same rims later, i had coilovers, really low, and no rubbing.......

why? i had chrome 18's, and went down to chrome 17's, and they're still nice...why is smaller then 18's no good?

not lowered i'd scrape lots, and then lowered 2"..i still scrape sometimes, just gotta change how you drive a lil and take the biger bumps at a wider angle...

OMG!!! if you were gonna spend the money on wheels and tires, then you should have maintained it... tires cost money. bald tires can cost you or others their lives. its illegal for a reason. please tell me you didnt drive it like that...

i love those rims i almost got those and i love the white ones, just look at turbo-alero's old rims they were the silver ones? but in the pic they looked white and it's looking sharp

yehhhhh im not a huge fan of white rims, but i somewhat subtract my previous statement (from earlier in thread) on them.. they should look nice on your car... go ahead and go with it. nice choice with the motegis too. "different?" i dunno. but if you like it, do it. Its what you wanted originally anyways, its YOUR CAR!! not ours! =) have fun!
