So on my seek button and some of the pre-sets, the black has worn off from over use. I hate the way it looks. I was wondering what I could do to get them back to black. I was considering black nail polish, but that might be too shiny? Any other suggestions??? Thanks!!

honestly, i think it would be hard to find anything that matched up right, but i'm sure there are quite a few owners who upgraded the stock cd deck and would let them go for sure.

Get some Testors flat black model paint... ? Mine did that so I just scraped the rest off and painted them blue, so I have transparent buttons. It's kinda cool, but I never got around to putting labeling back on them, so I had to memorize which buttons were which :P

alright, if you want to reproduce that flat black paint, use a clothing marker. there is one made by sanford, who also makes sharpie, specific for clothing. it doesn't have a shiny appearance, but a flat black color. the name is Rub-a-Dub. you can find it at a lot of places. those of us in the military use it for blackening out our pin on rank.

here's a picture.

Sweet, thanks. I didn't want to go out and have to buy a whole new radio.
