Lights/stereo Dim When I Hit The Brakes.

for the last few weeks, if i let the car sit for 4 or 5 days, i need to jump it. now its amost dead after 14 hours, and at 24 - 36 hours its dead.

also, sometimes while driving, ill hit the brakes and the stereo will cut out for about 1 second. same with the headlights if its night time.

the battery is about 9 months old, i now have the original stereo back in there...what could it be? sounds like a charging issue (alternator)

Take it to a parts store like Autozone and they should be able to test the alt for you. It does sound like a charging issue, the alt is charging the battery but just not enough not sending the 15 volts or so to charge the battery completly
