Alero On The Skidpad! *video

My wife and I did a Skidpad School/Test Session recently, and since my car's suspension was just apart the night before and needed an alignment, we just both drove the Alero.

The Alero has stock suspension with Hankook Ventus RS-2 Z212 225/45/16 street tires...those are some impressive numbers when you compare them to most production cars. BTW, the tires make a world of difference.

lol...That was Dan Combs, our instructor. There was apart where we actually got to run on part of the road course, and I rode with her for that. It was fun lol.

As for that Porsche, it ran in (may be wrong on the year/race) the 1969 24 hours of Daytona and 24 hours at Le Mans. It's worth $$$$$$$. He had another one there that won the 1968 24 hours of Daytona (?), which was the first big win in motorsports for Porsche. I think it was called a 907 longtail. Look them up and you'll see that exact same car, same driver, same paint scheme. Sometimes his son or daughter will drive one, but it's almost always him.
