umm what was included in that $70? seems a little too cheap for a full exhaust.

Ordered mine from SLP online (http://www.slponline.com) (it's under Grand Am). It was $481 shipped and cost me $65 to install

Got mine off ebay (exhaust only) for $25. Sounds good and makes peoples heads turn, and no not in that "OMG is that a riced out civic" way. I have the 3.4 so it sounds real throaty.

^ I'm betting you got just a muffler and not a full system.
anyway, I bought my Borla second-hand, and bought the piping from the mufflershop.

Agreed, get a custom one made... probably cheaper depending on what you get. Plus if something goes wrong, you can go and complain to someone nearby.
I may have paid too much seeing some of these prices, but very happy with the result. About 2300 Canadian including install.
2.5" SS piping
carsound hf cat
magnaflow hf resonator
magnaflow camaro style muffler
tips similar to stock - dual walled (these almost cost me more than the stuff above LOL)
TOG headers
TOG downpipe

Let's see....I bought my first Borla from LA performance muffler way back in late 2000 for like $400....then I put on a SLP that I bought direct from SLP but replaced the muffler with a magnaflow from Husker High Performance (I think the exhaust was about $375 and the Magnaflow was $120 - Oldsman has this exact exhaust now.....Silent had the SLP muffler)......and then I went back to a Borla I grabbed from PFYC for $575 or so. Oh, and somewhere in there I switched to an RT downpipe/cat, then headers, then back to a factory cat, and now a Magnaflow cat.
The moral of this story?
I've wasted way to much $$$ changing my mind, so be sure you're going to be happy with whatever you do....only do it once.
