not worth the $200 on a N/A motor.

save your money and get a 2.3 HO TB which is a 56mm. it's a much bettter choice and normally can get one from ebay or junkyard for under $75.

how would a smaller TB be better? It says 10 hp is that a lie or what?

Yes it's a lie, 62MM is too big for a naturally aspirated engine. It stifles air velocity (or air flow). Think of it like this: Your current throttle body is a 6" diameter water pipe that has to carry 500 gallons per hour of water. There's going to be a lot of pressure in that pipe and it's too small to efficiently carry that much water. A 62mm throttle body is like a 10-foot diameter pipe carrying 500gph of water. It's so damn big that the water is barely going to be moving, it's just a little stream at the bottom of the pipe and the water is barely flowing, this is bad as well. A ~56mm throttle body is just the right size; it's large enough that the water can efficiently move through the pipe, but not so large that the water doesnt have to flow at all. Get it?

^ I get it.

62mm = like throwing a pencil down a chimney
56mm = nice and tight, empahsis on NICE

i have the 62mm and you lose bottom end with it. you do gain in the high end. like 5000-6000 rpm.

with normal mods it is not worth the bottom end lost.

but it is good for boost.

Did you just take a 56MM TB right off a 2.3 QUAD4 engine and throw it on your 2.4? I'm curious to know how much work is involved if you just transfer it directly from one stock engine to another, IIRC there's some issues involved with the throttle cable bracket.
