Anti Lock Off Trac Off Service Eng

I was coming home from a friends earyler today just about to get on the expressway and my car chimes at me 9 times first light was anti lock light lit up 2nd was trac off 3d was service eng soon what the H E double L is going on ? any one else have this probelm .. and it had to happen on a friday night too javascript:emoticon(':pissed:') why not sunday night when i can go to the dealer monday morning when their not BUSY...... javascript:emoticon(':shout:') anyway anyone else have a problem like this at anytime let me know Please

wheel hub or o2 sensor is dying or dead. Do a search of this section using wheel hub and look at the titles of the other threads similar to your problem with the lights, you'll find quite a bit of info. ;)

actually i just drove and everything is off now ? i so confused.. anyway i had the front passenger hub replaced the driver side they put new harness to the hub cause it was burnt out. rears i have no idea but anywho i'll find out monday

I had this same problem when i changed out my intake and tb....all those lights came on. The problem i had was the idle air control motor wasnt bolted in enough and was getting pushed out, also the air charge temp sensor on the elbow of the stock intake might be coming lose, and lastly check the vaccum hoses. All three of these were a prob for me and were throwin those lights on so give it a looksy.

ok i am going monday to have it checked it came on again while i was at work .... glad all my electrical and drive train are under warenty till 98k whoo hoo 100 deductable and i am all set

hey angry man, I work at a dealership and I don't think my job is cushy! Don't be so quick to judge. Anyway, they should have gotten one of the porters to take you to work. Talk to a manager next time. If they don't then leave and go to a different dealership. Here we try to accomidate everyone, that's why we have the best service department in the area.

i sorri well the lady i talked to in the service department had a very bitchy tude about her guess she hadnt had her lunch yet and she didnt recomend the porter part but i would have been happy to know they would have done that... then i would have left my car...

well i went back they told me hour and a half .. i cant wait that long .. so i went down the street to gm dealer they told me they couldnt work on it cause they woulnt be able to honor my olds warenty ... but they are a gm certified service center ... ???? what the f*** fix my car ....

Trust me, I delt with that crap also. I thought ANY GM dealer could work on an OLDS under GM warranty. Well GM says that they will in an emergency, but otherwise you should take it to the closest Olds dealer or a dealer that used to sell and service Oldsmobiles.

well i got my oild change at my dads shop got to look at the underside of my car.. few things i need to get done like re attaching body panels and bumpers but main thing i looked at was all the tires and hubs.. My front passenger tire the hub assembly harness was not attached to the body of the car causing an inproper ground that was knocking on my service vehicle soon anti lock and trac off lights ... just a little u clip holding it up there on a little piece of sheet metal... :( so i did the best i could to knock it back into place.. hope it stays till i can get it up on the hoist again.. glad i got a step dad with his own shop even though i have to drive to mt clemens mi to do it.. but yeah.. my lights havent come back on yet *knock on wood* haha thats the second time i've said that on the site :emotlol: well hope if anyone else has the problem check that first off may save you the trouble of tring to get to the dealer like i had to but never went :P

Yeh, My mom runs the office 'round our shop, better than any man has before =-P It is really stressful at times!! people are CRAZY when it comes to their dumb cars!! And also we will even let people borrow our spare truck (MY TRUCK AGH!!!) if we have their car for a long time doing the tranny or sommit. And just this week we had some senile lady that refused to drive her car til we put the oil change sticker on it cuz she thought she would be pulled over, soooo we had to go to her house and pick it up, and drive it back. lol. we have guys to do those things, we will give people rides to get lunch all the time. Thats how we get soooo much business and a great customer base from all over NC, even have some VA pplz =) Anyway, sorry to hijack!!!!!!

I ran into the same problem with the GM versus Olds service. My local GM shop claimed it wouldn't honor the warranty and wanted to slap a 350 plus bill and rental fee on me. I simply asked for the phone and called GM's service number. The lady at the service center even went as far as to put me on three way with the dealer (I was standing right next to). About thirty seconds later he was a entirely different person and covered all warranty issues. Point being, dealers can suck but GM's service department kicks major but.
