ok so i got this air/fuel gauge and i can't figure out which wires i need to tap into. i need to know which wire on the o2 sensor i have to tap into and which wire is the best to tap into to get my 12 volt power source.

3400? if so, stand next to the drivers side fender and lean over to the middle of the motor. look down and you should see a small sensor with a purple wire coming out of it on your exhaust pipe. you need to tap that wire. some do it inside the car(no idea where the wire is inside), i found it easier to just tap right there. if you have a 4cyl, might be different dunno.

for power, i used the drivers side fuse box for the 12v.

It's like by the coil, under it actually. You have to look down there.

It's clipped in from the factory, but it does have 4 wires. the one you tap is purple, if you don't see that, it's not the hardness

You could also get the pigtail from PFYC (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=PN3010&Product_Count=12&Category_Code=GAUNDER)

then u should see your o2 sensor
[attachmentid=8177]

right above it that should be 4 wire in that black plastic stuff. one of them is the purple wire
[attachmentid=8178]

hope this helps
