A guy on bcjbody.org is putting a 3400 in his old cavvy with a manual trans.

converting a 89 cavi and an 99+ alero are completly different.
the cavy came optioned with a manual V6 so mounts axles and all that are allready available. with ours there is lots that has to be custom built

Yeah, adding a 3400 to something that was optional with a 5 speed is cake. I personally put one in a 92 Beretta GT mated with a 5spd. His best run to date is a corrected 14.3 @ 93MPH all motor :)
I've got pictures of the install if anyone wants more info on it..
