I was wondering how common it is for anti-rattle clips to scrape against the rotor. Did I do a bad install? Are the clips just bad? When I first installed the pad, they were dead quiet, but after a couple months there was an unbearable metal scraping sound, like nails on a caulkboard. It happened even when I wasn't breaking.
I just pulled my wheel off and found out that the clip was touching the rotor, there was a small grove in the rotor because of the clip. So I pulled them out and bent them. I think the noise is gone now.
