I don't have a way of scanning in the slips at the moment, so I'll leave this out of the sticky post. I got about 6 runs in, ranging in time from 16.761 to 16.237.
Not too bad for a tired old V6 with 120k on it. Only mods I have at the moment are a K&N cylindrical filter strapped to the MAF sensor and the B&M shiftplus which I'm not all too impressed with after seeing the times. Here's the times from my best run:

R/T ... .630
60' ... 2.420
330 ... 6.836
1/8 ... 10.506
MPH ... 67.76
1000 ... 13.616
1/4 ... 16.237
MPH ... 86.78

Ohh, I also pulled the driver headlight for this run. This run was with full interior, and a sub box in the back. Would've have pulled the box out but I was there by myself, and didn't have anyone to keep an eye on it.

So, how does this compare with other mostly stock 3400's?

It seems a bit slow to me for a 3400, ecspecially with a few mods. I would say some of it has to do with a slow 60' time (lower the air pressure in your tires) and the car being old.

Your trap speed of 86.78 would lead me to believe you car should be around the 15.7-15.9 range with a proper hook up.

I did have some traction issues, but nothing too major. I think a lot of it had to do with the humidity. This past couple of weeks here in the midwest has been a REAL killer.

yeah its a bit slow...lower tire pressure, and get rid of the crap in the trunk...it'll help to put some more weight in the front...the more the back end is heavy, the lower it is, lifting on the front wheels...losing traction...

Are you loading up the tranny at the line or just flooring it. Like Mike said, you should be pulling off better 60ft's and getting mid to high 15's.

But then again I have an Ecotec that couldn't break 15's for the longest time while Mike was pulling mid 15 off the bat - factory freak - I have a factory flop.

Yeah, but who's car is S/C now, and who's is lying in a junkyard somewhere :Noooo:

AnywaY, back on topic, Humidity is a killer, try to race on a nice dry cool night and you'll see those times lower, and yeah, take that sub out!

Even though I'm a newbie here, I'm no stranger to the track so most of this info I already know, but I appreciate the advice. I did lower the pressure a few PSI, but not a lot. I just basically wanted to get some starting times, so I wasn't too concerned about weight in the trunk, or tire pressure. Next time the sub box and spare tire are staying home, maybe even the seats.

and 02eco, I was loading the tranny on each run, but I think next time I go I'm going to try a few runs without just too see what kind of difference it makes. I want to get new motor mounts first though, and I'm thinking of finding a way of temporarily moving the battery so that when I take the headlight out it's not blocking airflow to the K&N filter.

Hopefully I'll get to the track in the next couple of weeks again, and I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

next time you are at the track run without B&M and get the car some what consistant then try a run in stage1 then stage2 then back to off. but to really test the B&M truely you need your car running consist first.

I definitely do plan on doing that. It was just kind of a spur of the moment thing to go to the track, at 9:00 at night, so I wasn't there long enough to get as many runs in as I wanted. Next time I plan on doing about 5 runs with it off, then five in 1, and five in 2, and just go from there.

that would be the best

I'd look at redogs hp post sticky again, for the tips like not going with a full tank of gas.
