OK Daytona and Corey both went out in the first round. Daytona went up against a pretty heavy hitter and he got taken out , but he was happy at the end of the day since all non point racers were left in the last 2 rounds

Corey went out due to me :Noooo: and :) at the same time. We got to the lanes late and they made me go in the left lane :Noooo: I dialed at 15.30 and Corey dialed in at 15.70 with her 86 TA.

Neck and neck all the way down, but Corey broke out and I took the victory running a 15.43. She was OK with the loss, but claims I pushed her to break out since I was in her blind spot :P

2nd round I went up against a really good racer and a good guy too. The same guy I lost to by .22 seconds 2 weeks ago. I dialed at 15.41 for this race and at the top end I jam the brakes and run a 15.42 and take the victory over the 12.45 Camaro by .01 seconds.

3rd round I lost, the car started running hot before I ran and I knew the time was going to be off. I tryed to cut a good light but went red big time -.089 :( (Better than the -.220 in time shots  ) I have yet to make it pass 3rd round. I always beat myself by breaking out or red lighting

Anyway, I moved into a tie for 12th and gained a lot of respect today. The guys in the tower said this over the PA system

"Ken B****** is becomming a really good points racer and is moving up very quickly in the standings" That's all I got but it's still cool :thumb:

I'm proud of Ken's performance. If he keeps this up he has a real chance of finishing in the Top 10 this year.

I, on the other hand, had my car fall flat on it's ass and lose almost a tenth 1st round after being forced to run in the left lane due to a shortage of car pairings (I ran both time shots in the right lane). I stayed in 5th place but lost a valuable opportunity to move into 3rd place as my key opponents ahead of me went out early as well. Only 3 more races to go (weather permitting) for me to regain that jump in the standings.
