This is a really confusing aspect to me as well. Most GM owners that I have ran into recommend the superchips setup. However I too am still investigating this aspect.

UHH, there really arent many choices, i believe the only true pcm reflash is DHP right now.

The big one is the DHP ^ and its the one most 3400 guys seem to be getting.

what years your car? ase is only for 99's, jet is a generic off the shelf so i would skip on it. intense makes one...definatly pass on that. dhp is a very reputable gm pcm reprogramming company, go dhp, there are no other brands id think about.

I've heard great things about the DHP setup. I am thinking of getting one myself, if they make them for 2004 models. :) I haven't even checked that yet.

FYI ASE works on all 99's, most 00's and some 01's. (all 3400 only of course.)
no need to misinform anyone.

All the info is on there. You will have to email them directly about getting one for the Alero since no web sites (to my knowledge) have a listing for anything but the GrandAm (IE: pfyc.com)
You MUST specify that it's going into an Alero. You can't just get one for a GrandAm SE or GT.

dont buy intense, they've blown up enough cars, and showed there true colors by denying any responsibility when it was proven there fault
they're only making parts for us because most of the l67/l36 world turned there back on them because they're shady
