Is there a big price diffrence? i had to replace mine when my altanator went out. I just had them put the Gator back on instead....

i doubt there would be a big diffrence

gatorback's are a long lasting belt they are really Quiet to, i would go for the gatorback over OEM.

I have the Gatorback on my F150 and it's a great belt, also on my dad's Tahoe.

Question though, how would I go about changing the belt on the '99 3600 V6

Thanks

You have to first release the tension on the belt tensioner by turning it. Then, I believe you need to remove one of the engine mounts, lower the engine enough to get the belt out, then raise it back up. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that. That's how it is on my wife's Malibu (3100), so I assume it's the same for ours. Install in reverse order.

I had my belt changed with adding new pullies. I think it's a goodyear but it looks like a gatorback
