Hi
I recently changed brake pads. I then saw that they were very different worn on the inside than on the outside.

the pad that is behind the rotor was almost worn out, but the pad on the outside was almost only half worn.

It was exactly the same on both side of the car, what can this be?

your brake cylinder is full of rust and is not moving as it should.

gotta have to diasemble it and make the rust off

My car done the same thing and I have read that many others (alero's, grandam's and mailbu's) have as well. GM says it normal but I feel its a caliper design problem. But that is the reason that little metal squeal tab is on the inner brake pad because they wear faster. I would just replace them and lube the calipers well and not worry about it.
