i need to spray some in the sub box i'm getting...make it a little more sound proof.

unless anyone has any other suggestions...

and yes, i am going to put some poly fill in the box.

I'm not sure, but you might want to check out Best Buy or CompUSA. They both install car audio systems. If they don't have the stuff, they know where to get some.

why dont u just silicon the edges and corners then fill it with poly fill. I would think that would be good enough. or what are u looking to do exactly I migh tnot know what ur trying to do

just soundproofing the box a little more. i have some liquid nails to seal the edges. (dual 10" sealed box) then carpet the outside of the box.

nothing fancy... 3/4" plywood, screwed together... i'm not gonna have an elaborate setup like some others on the site.

also, what is a good way to prevent it from sliding around the trunk? any place to kinda mount something to stop that?

dont bother with sound deadener. just use the liquid nails. the friction between the carpets should be enough to stop it from sliding around much, otherwise you can use a small metal L bracket and screw it to the box and floor(careful not to hit the gas tank or anythin).

^ L bracket... hmm... nice idea. that'll definitely improve the antitheft-ness of it. if you yank on it and it doesn't move...

but yeah... don't want to drill a hole into the gas tank... that would be very very bad...

3/4" ply wood if u want good sound quality build it out of MDF and use liquid nails and u'll be set dont use the plywood.

And for the movement. I would bolt it down to the car harder for theves to remove plus it wont move.
