2 Questions

1st question- synthetic autotranny fluid, is anybody using it? if so what brand is suggested? i'm getting ready to do a filter change cooler install and flush, and want to convert to synthetic.


2nd question- rear suspension polyurethane bushing, i haven't been able to find them just for the rear? RSM carries a set for the entire car, but i'm just looking for the rear bushings.

for the first one i heard synthetic is what came in our trannys........but not sure, use that royal purple stuff, ive heard good reviews and someone on here just used it and said he could see a different but i forget who.....


and for the 2nd i guess you could try the dealership.....or just try and get a part number and call jegs and see if they have a cross reference for something that will fit.....

the local speed shop (Deep Stage) swears by Royal Purple in their shop-sponsored car, auto tranny setup, running 52psi turbo (not a misprint) on the engine, but then again, that's not a daily driver. One of the other customers I met in there also said it made the tranny perform a little better on his street machine.

Whether it's synthetic or not, I haven't personally looked at it. I'm thinking of possibly trying it out.

No info on bushings.
