hey, i'm thinking up new places to put led's and cathodes, since i have some left over....

where is the sensor that tells your dome light that the door is open...

or just wiring for the dome light itself.

i want to patch into it, but gotta figure out how...

the driver side door has it own sensor and the rest of the doors (front pass, both rears) has their own sensors. From installing my own alarm system, I had to isolate both sensor wires with diodes to make the alarm read it if the doors were open.

So just tape it in the dome light if u want them to light up, or the under the dash lights floor lights would be the easiest. instead of tapping into the door sensor wire

This is a stab in the dark, but I bet the wiring for the dome light comes down the driver's side front pillar. Follow those into the fuse panel on that side and test off the fuse box until you find the right circuit. Actually, it might even be labeled on the fuse panel diagram.

.. wrong! . .the wiring comes down the driver side C-pillar where the back rear windshield is. Which will follow back to the driver side kick panel area where most of the wiring are.

I know i pulled out my headliner... well whole interior 4 times already. hehehe

ok, so if i was looking for it, it should be under the door liner plastic piece, or in the fuse box area?

I wired a couple neons into the area under the dash... i tapped them directly into a line that fed the dash lights then ran it to a switch with i hid in my center console... so the neon will only be on if the lights are on (therefore it's dark enough for them to make a difference) and i have the option to disrupt the circuit with the switch in the event i dont want them on... and the perk is that the neons dim with the rest of the interior lights... cause they are all on the dimmer... it's cool...

i have plenty of wires and lights ran... but the next few sets of leds and cathodes are going to be wired to the dome light, and on a switch.... just need to know where to find the power....
