ok i just got around to installing the FFP pulley, and i tightened the crank bolt all the way untill it wouldnt turn anymore. since my torque wrench is a slice of sh1t. well anyways, i put everything back together, and start the car up. it runs just fine, and it turn it off. then when i lower it back on the ground and try to start it up again, it doesnt even turn over.....what the hell happened? did i over tighten the crank bolt? it doesnt seem to be hitting anything or in the way of anything.

anyways, i disconnected the battery to try to reset the PCM to see if that does anything.

ok apparently i was supposed to put a crank sensor on the new pulley.... i never saw that, on the stock one, cause i never knew what it looked like, so all i gotta do is put that one, my other problem is i broke 2 wheel studs. i know i can buy new lug nuts and new studs, but i dont know how to put them on.....can someoen help!?

also that crank sensor wasnt on my FFP pulley, so i guess it caused the car to run irratic. but sdoes anytone know if it matters how tight the crank bolt is? cause i tightened it all the way untill it stopped moving

update. im going to go pick up 2 new studs, and lug nuts. also the guy i bought the pulley from didnt bother to include the 3 machine screws that are needed to hold down the crank sensor ring. so i gotta go get those..... but yeah i'm gonan fix the problem, just need alot of time, and patience i guess

Changing studs shouldn't be that bad. Just remove the caliper and rotor and pound them out. Be careful when reinstalling I try to line up the knurling on the new stud with the grooves in the hole makes them easier to pull into place. Make sure they are going in straight. I just pound them back in but be "CAREFUL" you can screw up the hole if it's not lining up right. Some guys use nuts and washers and pull them through. Proper way is remove hub and press them in and out. Make sure they are seated down all the way or your wheel will loosen up again.

ok i got the studs in but i couldnt get them 100% of the way in.....they are like 95% all the way in. do you think once i put my wheel back on and tighten the lug, the stud will pull into the hub? and make it go 100% in?

accually i have already had to replace 2 studs on my car and you have to remove the brakes calipiers, rotor, and dismantle the hub assebly to fully be able to remove the studs

before you put your tire back on tighten done the lug onto the stud annd use a impact on it if you have oneit will pull the stud the rest of the way in
