Oil Pressure Sensor...

so i tried to connect my new sensor in today, and i found the oil pressure sensor that is there now. (from underneath the car, its above the oil filter) but how does it come out??? i cant seem to reach it good enough to move it in any direction, and certainly can't get any kind of tool in there....

i used pliers like channel locks to remove the stock one. Or you buy the special Oil pressure sending unit socket tool removal. Its like 10 bucks at autozone. Its specially threaded.

dont get the knock sensor and the oil pressure sensor mixed up. They're next to each other and looks almost identical.

i got the 3.4L(if it helps) its above and to the right (if looking from underneath) small round thing w/ a wire coming out the end?

yea the stock one, its a black housing, with a wire going to it. Its been a while since i'd looked at mine after when i installed my aftermarket sending unit.
