ok i use my mp3 player in my car all the time now. i can have more songs than a ton of cd's and i just love it. So to use my mp3 player i have a tape adapter. A couple weeks ago it spazed out on me by like clicking a lot, then it sounded like i reversed and started clicking rapidly again. my friend played with the tape a little then it stopped. today i went to eject the tape and it started up again so i got the tape out and it continued its rapid clicking. so when i tryed to stick the tape in it wouldnt respond to the tape being in the deck and it was still clicking when the tape wasnt even lowered down like it should be to play. Anyone know what i can do to fix this? i would really love to not have to get a new head unit or something.

I have the same problem. It sucks. I'm just gonna get a head unit with an auxillary input jack and plug in my MP3 player that way.

also, save up for an aftermarket stereo....something that plays mp3's. ;)
