Trouble Starting

every once and a while id say at least once a day, it seems like it turns over like 7 0r 8 times before my car starts up, does anybody know what this is??

have you taken a look at your alt? might be time for a fuel filter change. just a guess.

try to change your fuel filter then if you havent already in that 30k. it dosent cost must. theres also a how to in the how to section. gl :thumb:

yea also there is a thread about our fuel pumps.......that people think they need to be primed, so what a lot of us our doing is turning the ignition to the on position and letting it sit for a few seconds (i turn my car on, throw my seat belt on and put my cd player in, which equals to about 8-10 seconds........then crank it over and its solved it most of the time but i can tell my fuel filter is starting to go bad when this procedure aint fixing it.....
