Front Defrost Vent

so for my front defrost i have one giant vent. any know if this just snaps out? or do i have to take the whole dash out to get at it?

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking that the whole dash cover needs to be removed. Reason I say this is because of the HOW-TO with regards to the ACL mod. The light sensor is located to the far left inside that vent, and removing the dash is what's needed to get to it. :(

what are you tryin to get at? just under the top cover, or to the actual vent? cuz the its just a cover sittin by the windshield, but under that its the dash...trust me, i been there twice for painting purposes...
