i origianlly was going to have tires plus install my new pulley but when they saw it they decided not to since its a "race pulley" and is does not have a harmonic balancer like the stocker. my question is will someone in the Grand Forks north dakota area be willing to help me install this? i dont have any tools here at school with me and am not super knowledgable about this install. i will be willing to pay for time or whatever you think is fair, otherwise id be totally willing to bring the beers. so if there is someone in the area that would be willing and able to help me could i drive to you so i could get some assistance in getting this thing installed? thanks in advance. Johnny Boy i know you are here but im not sure if youve got the stuff to do it. if you do let me know.

the right tools???? seriously, if they dont have a 15mm socket and a pulley puller, then i have no idea why they are in business.

if your coming to the minneapolis area, i would be willing to put it on for you, it takes a whole 10mins......

jack up passenger side
remove wheel
remove/move splash gaurds
remove 15mm bolt from pulley
remove belt
use 3 bolt pulley puller and remove pulley
tap out crank sensor ring
install ring on FFP Pulley using loctite on the screws
put FFP Pulley on the crank and gently tap it onto the crank to seat it
insert 15mm bolt and tighten to spec
replace belt
re install splash guard and wheel
lower car

aparrently for our aleros you have to lower the passenger side engine mount to gain full access to the pulley. i loked at it last weekend, and couldnt even fit my rattle gun in there.

yea, i will call you on friday.

i get out of work around 3:30 pm or so, so it should be right around that time.

however, im not 100% positive that we will be able to do it friday, im pretty sure we can tackle it, but just incase, you are going to be in town all weekend right?

i have all weekend off from work just, so just in case friday is a no go, then saturday or sunday is ok with me if its ok with you.
