I have a 2000 GLS 3.4L with 47000 miles, it's completely stock exempt for the K&N air filter and the rear 6x9's. I want to start upgrading it but I want to know what should be the first thing to buy. Whats the best bang for the buck? Is there a huge difference between a WAI and a CAI? How painfull is it to get to the filter for the CAI? Should I get headers before a cat-back system? Will the Borla Cat-back make my car sound like a damn Honda? It's going to be paid off soon and I'll finally have some money to spend on it!

wai's are cheaper than cai's and they are easier to install. They both do the same damn thing. Naich makes a good cai if you have the 3400. welcome to the site by the way and make sure you use the search button.

i'll be nice

naich sells a cai that can accomadate bothe a wai and cai

the cai is better off but prone to the weather (like any other) because of where it sits

also do the cat back before headers, you'll get better sound and slightly better performance but for half the price, headers should be second on the list, but will definately give better flow
