I was driving last night and my low tire pressure light came on. No big deal, I just put air in the tires and didn't reset it, but about 10 minutes later my security light came on.

I was meeting my g/f outside of Princeton Junction, which is about 35 miles or so from my house. I didn't want to do it but I turned off the car so I could reset the pressure light and the car started right back up and the security light was out. It came on like usuall but turned off within 3 seconds.

This all happened while I was driving. Anybody else have this interseting problem? The car has 44500 miles on it

Sounds like you're gonna need an ignition lock cylinder. It isn't reading your key, so it's shutting off your fuel thinking you're stealing the car. Ain't technology great?

/\ /\ huh?? He said the car started up fine. The two situations are most likely not related. Just watch the security light in the future, and if it never does it again, don't worry about it.

I thought he said the CAR shut off in 3 seconds, not the light. Sorry, my bad. If the car shuts off right away, that's usually what it is.
