OK, got a question for someone. Who has LEDs in their taillights, and what part number were they.

3157 is supposed to be cross referenced as compatible, but when you put a set in, it wont change when you hit the brake.

I had this problem and rewired them to make them work, but i know some of you have used LEDs in your tails without a problem.

Post here!!

The wiring on certain cars is different for the LEDs, I had to get special ones for my mom's truck because it just blew the standard ones out.

Check it out here.. http://www.jamstrait.com/

I remember the modification instructions online, but don't remember where

that's how alero brake lights work :P

I've used 3157's and they worked fine..brake lights got brighter when i hit the brakes. i didnt like how they didnt light up the whole housing and it was just little red dot in the middle, so i took them back.
