Heating Question

so my heat seems to be acting kinda weird lately... after i turn my car on and it warms up the ducts are blowing out nice hot air... however a few moments later they will start blowing cold air like a car that's been sitting all night... after another few moments they will be blowing hot air again but now the air has a distince odd smell... it's kind of a gross smell and i don't like that or the cold air that comes before it

any help anyone?

You most likely have a leak or blockage in the coolant system. I had this same problem. Dealer said some coolant had dried inside the heater core and prevented warm air from staying constant. Check it out. I had warranty but I believe it was like 200 without. :(

i have a queston too i got my coolent flushed now my car heats up alot faster it gets to 1/2 and hovers there. it takes olny 3 miles to heat up and befor it took about 6.

As long as you got the flush done by a professional service shop and you are not experiencing any over heating then you are fine. If you did experience any problems it falls on them.
