View Full Version : For those who have the FDP Cold air intake

So I did some searching around.....And Im pretty close to getting the FDP Cold Air Intake. I know that it dosent come with a filter, and Im lookin to buy a K+N to fit it. My question is....for those who have this intake fitted with a K+N, do you know what part number, or model filter to get? Or do they just have a standard open element filter?
Also, How nicley does the CAI and filter mount, and fit in the wheel well? In other words....how was installation?

If anyone can answer these questions thank you!!

I have the FDP CAI and it came with a filter, the intall is fairly easy, just look on their site and print it out. It should come with a filter. Shipping is quick too, you'll be happy with it.

Well I just tried to get the address for u and it says the site is down until March 04 so u might wanna try APoC(banner at the top of the screen) or www.doctorspeed.com and his is on sale until Dec. 23 at midnight, so order quickly.

FDP is located in Canada....About an hour from me. I have heard alot about his shipping speeds though..he's apparently quite fast. I went and picked mine up from him. Like r53silver91s said, his site is down currently moving.....You can try APOC but you might have to wait awhile.

I already looked into APOC for the Intake, but it says that they are all on back order.
I'll look into that Dr.speed site tho. Thank you!

Yeah the people at fdp are great becuase I ordered my cai from them and got it quick and have been in contact with franz quite a few times on the 62mm tb and he has been great and he let me know what was going on the whole time. I really hop they are just moving and not closing because it a great company but if you go with apoc you wont be out anything either because John is a great guy.
