You'll see about 25 HP from all of that, Maybe 30 HP

Buying from RSM might be cheaper

dude, i think your talking about s&s or tog HEADERS, completly different than heads or intake manifolds

Exactly what I was thinking, Mike. But yeah, 3 bills is hella cheap for a reputable P&P job on both intakes.....I'm assuming that only includes the "machine" work, and not the over-all labor? If that price includes the labor too, I'd be VERY leary..... just ask to see the finished products before they go back on the engine, and keep an eye on what gaskets he uses. Ooo, one other thing: when the manifolds are replaced, make sure that whomever does the work takes a knife to the gaskets to ensure the ports are clear. Even if the P&P job is top-notch, if there's gasket material left between the surfaces that mate and hanging into the pathway, you just wasted your money. In order to make use of the port job, there can't be any gasket material restricting airflow. Awesome news man, keep us posted. B)

YEAH IM PRETTY EXCITED...ITS 300 FOR THE PORTING AND 125 MORE FOR THE LABOR AND MISC STUFF....BUT YEAH IM DROPPIGN IT OFF THURSDAY AND WILL HAVE IT BACK BY SATERDAY DAY!

also will it be a noticable increase in accerlation and performance?

You'll notice an increase, plus when it's really cold the car will idle a lot faster.

Mine idled at 1200 to 1500 when I'd first start it

just foudn out that they cant port my tb because the butterfly valve would nee dto be replaced...is this port of my u&l manifolds worth it if i dotn get the 62mm tB?

^^No, your only letting in as much air as your smallest opening will allow.

will i loose performance...or can i gain soem and just wait till i get more money and get the tb put on later?

It won't hurt performance if you wait for the TB. It's not too hard to swap anyway

if you could do it with a dremel, they would do it with a dremel

you probably wont notice any gain when they port your manifolds, but when you get a 62mm tb you'll see a really good gain

Yeah...my buddy has a 01 GAGT and he had just a CAI and SLP catback and I had the same mods and when we raced it was very consistant (he got me by about 1/2 a car every time). But recently he just got a 62mm TB and now he takes me by bout 2+ cars everytime :(. But the gains are very noticable even w/o the manifolds. I am getting one as my next mod.
