Rear View Mirror [Archive]

Ok I am buying a new rear view mirror cause i cracked the glass on my old one, so what kind of glue/adhesive should i use??

go to an auto store.....i think they make stuff specifically for the rear view mirror.....

^ not only auto stores. Pretty much any place that has automotive parts for sale will have it. Ex: Wal-Mart.

if your just replacing the mirror, you shouldnt have to need any glue at all. at the base where it attaches to the windshield, there is I believe a torx screw or a hex screw. anyways, just back that screw out a little bit, and the mirror bracket will slide right up off the metal tab thats already glued to the windshield. Slide the new mirror back onto that tab, replace the screw, and there ya go
