Is This Worth It?

Check it out, i found this on ebay for the 3.4 v6 on the GA but since they are the same they should work. Will this give me any power or is it another one of those cheap rip off fake "chip" deals. Any input is greatly appreciated.

are the gear ratios different for the ga and the alero? wouldnt that screw stuff up?

not worth the money. most people don't feel a difference by either seat of pants or at the track.

Yeah I found out from a guy that bought one that it is a circuit block of resistors that you will have to splice into stock wiring with. He said he liked it but he also had what he called a sport Ford Escort :lol: ...either way, you want a resistor just go to Radioshack.



Oh and the Grand Am does have different gear ratios...

only the grandam GT has different gear ratio's, the SE is the same

if it is a jet pcm, its more than a resistor you splice in, but its not tuned for our car like dhp, or ASE if you have a 99

save up for the dhp

Plus the JET is a PIA to install, and more than the DHP PCM.

Either get the B&M shift kit or a DHP PCM. You'll feel a difference
