so today on my way to school i realized how cold i was. looking at the by climate control, i noticed that i was only defrosting my windows... i turned the knob to the one where heat goes both up and down... unfortunately the air flow did not change. when i got home today i continued playing with it and it seemed like the knob was turning very easily. i pulled it off and looked at it and discovered a small crack inside. i also used some needle nose pliars to turn the actual post under the knob (what the knob should have been turning) and then the air would come out the right place. so i went inside and further examined my broken knob. i jammed some paper into it forcing the crack shut and put it back into my car... i turned the knob and pulled it back off and behold! the post had turned as well... but wait a minute... my air flow had not changed... i put the knob back on and continued turning but nothing. so i took the knob back off and tried again with the pliars... however this time the air flow didn't change when i turned it with the pliars... why won't my air flow correctly... i'm cold!

My car has something similar wrong with it. When i turn on the heater to where it is blowing at ur body and and ur feet the air does not come out for your feet. It does that with the air conditioner too.
