Apoc - Cai Delivery

I've ordered a Cold Air Intake from American Performance of Colorado over three months ago, and have yet to get it!

John originally quoted me 3 weeks for delivery when I placed the order. After 4 weeks, I called him and asked about when I might get it. "Next week" was the response.

To make a long story short, I've basically called and/or emailed him every 2 weeks since then, and each time, there was some reason why I hadn't gotten it, but I was always promised I'd get it next week.

Unless anyone has any other recommendations - I'm going to say screw it and be asking for my money back.

Um, what motor is it for? If it's for a 3.4, I can recommend a suitable replacement, that ships very fast and is MUCH cheaper with the same quality. :)

Thanks for the help guys. I'll be asking for my money back from APOC. I'll let you know how that goes.

In the mean time - any recommendations for a CAI for a 3.4?

sorry to hear that man, i would ask for money back and buy a new one. i thought taking almost 3 weeks for my header from illinois to get hear was bad. and i am getting pissed because of it. but i really am sorry to hear that.

Yager... I hear what you're saying. I've been waiting for OVER A YEAR for my CAI from him, and much like you, it's always been the same thing.. "It'll be out soon... " "I've been busy with THanksgiving" stuff like that. As far as the refund goes, he's not being to thoughtful about that either.... :pissed:

Final update - After having emailed APOC and having received no response, (later found out his email account was "messed up" and a new email was posted on the website), I worked with my credit card company to contact APOC to have my money refunded to my account.

Though not happy, Jon with APOC was helpful after the refund request. The refund has now been posted to my account.

Any other recommendations on where to get a CAI for a 3.4L (within a month)?

doctorspeed can get you one in like 2 weeks, thats about how long it took for me to get mine.

Again, I'd like to recommend not doing business with Dr. Speed untill he returns to the community. He's been AWOL for 5 or 6 months now on gagt.... I just don't want to see anyone get hosed. When I hear anything different, I'll let you know.
