I'm trying to replace the lower intake manifold gasket and can't get to one of the bolts holding the power steering pump to the engine. It's blocked by a stud for the passenger motor mount. I don't want to remove the mount and will try a small flex socket - a u-joint won't work. Any other ideas that won't require removing the mount?
BTW, it's a 2000 V6.

removing the motor mount is easy, just place a jack with a block of wood under the engine.

Thanks. But I really did not want to remove the mount or put the weight of the motor on the pan. Normally it's not a problem, but sometimes you can warp the pan - or worse damage the flange - and cause leaks. Turns out that the studs on the upper part of the mount come out with the nut, so removing the entire mount is not required.
