im so friggin dirty from doin this.....the headlight housing is some sort of epoxy type plastic that just turns to powder when you sand and cut it.....anyone who has sanded body filler would kinda know what im talking about....everything in my garage is covered in this poop!!! just got the other side done.....now i just need to find out what i want to do with the halos!!! :)

I might be willing to take over for brad on makin these.....still run into the issue of cores......hmmm
im thinkin $175 to $200 + cost of projectors....this set will hold 9006 bulbs. i only had to mod it a little bit...so those who buy them can use their stock bulbs until they get a set of HIDs.
still need a core though....because if your headlights are modded, the next customer may not want a painted bezel etc......
i guess we will have to just wing it eh?
those interested, email me... anderbrainnovations@hotmail.com because my PM box always gets full.

defiently need some of them, around 175 for a pair molded in plus a factory pair of headlights?

Just some info for you, I have cores sitting here if anyone wants em.
If you are buying an HID kit get D2S bulbs.. it will make life MUCH easier and give you better final results.
AnderbrA
11-07-2004, 01:10 PM
cost is 175 - projectors....you buy the projectors....or i can buy them, it would just be added to the cost.
brad has a set of projectors that he would get rid of for a decent price....

bumpitity bump bump bump.....
those who wanted to get off cheap there are a bunch of HID kits on ebay for 300 or less....the set that i got from brad, he paid $650 cdn for, but they are Phillips.....

the good thing with these projectors, is that you can use the stock bulbs...because i have them fitted to work with 9006 bulbs.....
just wont get the full pimpness of HIDs....

What car are those projectors off of? What size lenses are you using?
And the night pics look like the drivers side light is a little brighter... could just be the angle or something though.
Nice job, at any rate. :)

Good god if they are then my I'm whoring myself out for a set of these...
AnderbrA

the picture is of the cuttoff from the projectors, where you get all the color, the drivers side one is pointed a little higher, so you get more light at that level, if you go down a little more, they both would be the same....it all depends on where you are standing.....anyone who knows projectors would understand what i am talking about.....
thats why cars coming towards you that have projectors flicker and change colors....
these projectors are from an Audi.

Real HID's (BMW/AUDI/LEXUS) are not blue. The projector cutoff is what makes them blue.
They are always 4100k because that is the best color for visibility.
Blue HID kits are rice.
