Aftermarket Head Unit

I connected the blue wire that i have read about? any other suggestions? or different wire on an 03?

Now what is the question? The blue wire on most wiring harnesses for head units are the power turn on wire for electric antennas and amps if you dont have a amp or a electic antenna then it should just dangle there.

no, it doesn't "dangle there" you connect it to the antenna booster.

if i'm connected to the antenna booster, why is my signal stil fading as i drive, that was my question? i was just wondering if the 03's wiring may have changed some wire colors?

I have found that some radio adapters have the amp turn on and power antenna connection reversed

i guess i should check to see if the power antenna wire comming from my head unit is actually sending power out.
